My fighting fish does not move much and he does not eat much

every fish is defferent and betta fish dont move around a lot in a lil place

try to feed him a lil i mean a lil if it eats it give it more

he's probly just old and there really isn't any thing much you can do but just let him be. good luck :)

He may be old or sick, but most likely just old.  Maybe he's tired or your feeding him too much and hes really full??

I have a betta and sometimes he's like that too. It usually occurs when I don't feed him on a consistent schedule. Instead of giving him food every morning, I would give him food on the morning of day 1 and night of day 2, etc. So what I would do, is change his water with a baster (suck up water and drain it down the sink) to keep his water healthier, fill it with water conditioned with betta water conditioner (betta conditioner actually works), and feed him after. If you did this at night, feed him everyday or every two days at night. That way he has a consistent eating schedule.
