My figure 8 pufferfish ate a ghost shrimp. Is that okay?

I've been feeding him blood worms and mosquito larvae, and I think he's wild caught, so is it okay if Doug ate a ghost shrimp? I thought they were too fast, but he managed to catch them.

heh...  well, that depends on your definition of "ok" - obviously, one of your shrimp is dead now. But your figure 8 puffer will be fine. He'll continue to eat any invertebrates you try to keep in your tank, though. A lot of people keep puffers specifically to have somewhere to dump their excess snails and shrimp culls.

Yes they will catch them and eat them if they can. Nothing to worry about though except the poor little shrimp that is!! LOL

It's good for him.  Lots of protein.  He will also like snails.  That's one of their favorite foods.  Get him some pond snails to munch on.
