  1. ice them and maybe you should try playing with a pic

  2. yea, depends on if you have that awful sting from the strings being pressed into the middle of your fingertips or if there like actually bleeding. If they burn apply pressure touch them, trust me it will be painful at first but then it will feel better by the end of the day. I also use lotion, since you are forming calusses by playing so much guitar, your ruining the layer of skin and forming calusses, so use some lotion and take a break.

Watch some tv, eat some junk food, look over the chords your playing tomorow. Just refrain from playing guitar.

even if your fingertips still hurt, dont let that stop you from playing an awesome show..... Just suck it up for 3 min each time haha

  3. Ice them.

  4. HMMM.... if u think u got what u r gonna play tomorrow give it a rest until ur band playes and dip ur hand in cold water and dont do too much work with ur finges after ur band plays i dont play guitar but cant u use the chip thing? =p

  5. Numb the pain with apple cider vinegar. Just soak your fingertips in the vinegar for about 30 seconds before and after playing. Lightly icing your fingertips before and after playing can also help alleviate soreness.

And is it the hand  you use to press down on the strings? Because I thought that made more sense (I say this b/c everyone keeps saying to use a guitar pick).

    Anyways.. hope it heals!
