My finished torrents Dont want to Seed.

After i download a torrent i cannot seed it stays at 0 kbs i use bitlord but i have tried many others bitclients and i have comcast as isp as if that matters also is there a way around the uploading since i am suffering major slowdown since i cant upload enough my speed suffers i dont want to be a leecher but i have not other choice please help me.

  1. Comcast is the issue.  They use Sandvine to interfere with bittorrent and what you describe is the classic symptoms of Sandvine interference.

    Comcast is supposedly stopping this, but who knows.

    I have Comcast (and Vuze/uTorrent) and had this issue.  Using encryption and lazy bitfield worked for me.

    However, for about 1/3rd of the people those do not help.


  2. if you upload over night as you sleep that's a good way to seed but if its your modem then your screwed as a leecher
