  1. Take them hiking and fishing at a local wildlife preserve.  Ask some parents to come and have a picnic as well.

Fun, inexpensive and a blast when Boys try fishing for the first time.  You can throw the fish back after you take the photos.

  2. On my sons 10th b day we went go carting.... he had such a blast. He wants to go every year now :)

  3. rent him a Hummer Limo and let him ride the town with his friends.

I did that to my 12 year old,he's 15 years now and he still talks about it

  4. have a sleep over with some of his friends, rent movies popcorn.

  5. Have a rollerskating party. My boys loved to rollerskate/blade at that age. If you can't afford a big party Tell him to invite 5 of his closest friends/relatives take them skating on a Saturday afternoon.(most rinks only charge admission and most kids this age already have their own skates or blades which they will let you bring)(if not to rent isn't exspensive anyway) After your couple hours of skating go back to your house and have exstended family waiting for cake and food. I even skated at one of their parties it was a great time!!!

  6. What is he into (sports, music. tv, movie , etc)

  7. OMGZ OMGZ he's turning ten? what's the big deal? it's like any other birthday isn't it? anyways, six flags!

  8. We had a family camping trip with friends for my daughters 10th birthday. they had an absolute ball, it didn't cost a fortune and there are heaps of fun photos to look back at and plenty of happy memories too.

She has been telling everyone about it since we got home.

My son wants to go bowling or go-carting with his friends when he turns 10.

Guess it dpepends on what they are interested in.

Hope it's a fantastic day for you all and one that is remembered forever and followed by many many more.
