  1. be urself don't date a junior or senior and dress to impress LOL

  2. lets see..

       classes:

-dont fail (credits are hard to make up)

-ask for help if you need it (highschool teachers wont baby you like in elementary and middle school)

-take challenging courses  (a C in a hard course is better than an A in an easy, basic course.)

-DO YOUR HOMEWORK. falling behind is the worst thing you can do.

-know where your classes are, and whats expected of you (teachers' policies, passes, etc)

       freshman year:

-be yourself. everyone hates fake people.

-dont start drama with anyone. yeah itll happen, but dont do it intentionally.

-dont crowd the hallways or act dumb or anything of "typical freshman" nature

-people will look down on you because youre a freshman, unless youre not immature and make friends with upperclassmen.

-which brings this fact: most upperclassmen will not want to be your friend. sorry, but its true.

       friends:

-your friends will change. classes change, and youll meet new people

-most of your friends will ditch you and backstab you at one point or another. its best to move on and meet better people.

       relationships:

-most highschool relationships last only a few weeks

-s*x is a big thing at this age. but if you dont want to have s*x, then SAY NO. getting pressured into s*x is not good at all.

-also if you do choose to have s*x, everyone will find out, and you may be labeled a s*ut. theres not much you can do.

-while most relationships are unimportant, you might find your love. this is a great thing =)

-PDA (making out in the hallways) is gross. nobody wants to see it.

    hope this helped

  3. get to know your teachers, im not saying be a teachers pet, but say good morning and such. go to tutoring if you need help. freshman year is fun, your going to meet so many new people, join clubs and try and go outside your usual circle of friends. DONT DATE SENIORS! just be yourself and dont talk trash.

  4. don't slack off on your homework. it will catch up to you, believe me. be nice to the teachers, and they'll be nice to you. don't interrupt by talking to your friends or anything like that. that keeps other people from learning and really pisses the teacher off. get involved in clubs, sports, or school activities. they're a lot of fun and look good on college resumes. it's easy to make friends, just talk to people and be friendly.

  5. im about to start highschool too but my friends older sister said that classes are just the same. and that in order to make more friends just keep true to yourself. and that relationships tend to stay the same but if you are going to date any older guys dont go higher than a sophmore

  6. i eat potatoes regularly
