  1. Just play it normal... and be who you are!!  There are soo many people who try too hard to fit in and they ruin themselves in the process!

Don't forget, every other grade nine student is going throught the same thing.  The stronger kids stay calm and be true!

    Sincerely,

    Bi Kid

edit- think about... every other grade nine student will be worrying what they look like and probably won't even notice what you are wearing!!

  2. haha it my first day of highschool too!

im not sure if this is done in your school but FRESHMAN HELLWEEK!!

if ur school does freshman h**l week then dont go to lockerrooms alone...

thats where desperate overweight big kids attack you.

bathrooms are also place for to be scarred of. not only it smells it doesnt have a camera so you can be attack

what you can do is just run away and stay near a teacher, thats what i will do

and if they do attack you lol just yell RAPE!! RAPE!!. amd hopefully a teacher might come good thing fresman hellweek is only a week but the rest of the year highschool is going to be a blast cause thats when most of the girls hit puberty and WOO HOO something to stare at during math class! and if were lucky we can loos our virginity in highschool

    well good luck man

  3. What I regret the most from high school is that I didn't make any friends until my last year. For me it is very difficult to make new friends (and I don't know if this is the case with you) but my best advice is to try and make friends from day 1; talk to whoever sits next to you on class, it can be about something as lame as the weather, just try to identify the people who you think will have more things in common with you.

I wish you the best luck, try not to be afraid, and remember: nobody can make you feel bad about yourself unless you allow them to do so...

  4. You are in good company.  If you weren't nervous that would be odd.  Don't be afraid to ask for help if you get lost - but ask a teacher or a secretary or someone - the seniors might like to send you in the wrong direction for laughs.  You will have it figured out in about a week or so.

  5. You will be just fine. Bigger kids might pick on you but it is only because they are insecure about themselves. Don't let if affect how you feel about yourself on the inside. Be true to your own interests and pursue them no matter what anyone else does or says. In a few years you will look back and realize that high school doesn't really matter except that your grades may get you in to quality schools. If you get lost, simply ask someone how to get to where you are going and remember to keep a sense of humor about the whole thing as really none of it is too big of a deal. Hang in there kiddo!

  6. I'm a junior, first freshman day got lost, not surprising, don't worry if you do no-one will be able to single you out for it, hundreds of freshmen do.

Although you should head over to your school today to check out where your classes are, that usually solves it.

  7. its cool man, imma sophomore and i got through my first year fine.  got in a fight, but other than that, i was fine.  its different, ill tell ya that.  but be yourself, make friends with good people and be a nice guy, that should help with school and girls.

    hope i helped man,

    have no fear.

  8. I went through the same thing last year. Just relax. Follow your schedule and do your classes. almost everyone will be nervous so you wouldn't be the last one. I remember my first day middle school. Lol I had no clue where to go. good luck.

  9. lol john.

    me three. =\

  10. Oh you'll be fine. There's really nothing to worry about. Teachers are very nice on the first day and just try to make some friends.

You'll do fine, don't worry. Just get a good night's sleep tonight.

  11. me too.. s***w it lol

  12. at lunch find the stronger and meaneat guy and kick his A$$...

  13. Ok, seriously, don't freak out at all.

Trust me, it's nothing like you'll expect.  NOTHING like the movies are TV shows.

I was freaked out thinking about high school and yeah I thought it would be scary.  But once you get in there, you actually forget all what you were thinking.  And a month or two later, you'll be saying to yourself "This is not what I expected high school to be like"

As for what is going to go on, it varies from school to school.  My school, Sophomores - Seniors come in at normal time and leave at about 10.  Then the freshmen come in around 10 and stay until the end.  You get your schedules (if you didn't get it already) and you go to your classes and the teachers talk to you about the year.  And peer 2 peer leaders (Me) direct the freshmen to their rooms if they can't find it.

I don't know how your school does it, but that's how mine does it.

Don't be nervous.  They normally give out a layout of the school.  If it's anything like my school, you'll know where the rooms are.  Like A rooms are downstairs to one side, B rooms are all upstairs and C rooms are to the other side downstairs.

You will probably have Peer 2 Peer leaders or teachers in the halls that will help you get to your rooms.

Keep it cool!  You're in high school.  Just be yourself.  Hang with your friends.  You'll make new friends in no time.

Here is a word of advice, don't tell anyway you're a freshman ;) jk

Seriously, trust me on this, there is NOTHING to worry about.  You'll get the hang of things.  Within a week, you'll know your school and where to go and everything will be rolling.

    Good Luck!
