  1. yes it will or do you want to end up 46 yrs old and not knowing how to drive????? besides just think about how great your gonna do and not the mistake you might can make! okay?

  2. Yes it will get better. I felt exactly the same as you and it took me several years to pluck up the courage to learn to drive. You'll surprise yourself with how quickly you improve and one day it will click and you'll realise your feet did what they should without you thinking about it! Keep going and get as much practice as you can - it's the only way to become a good driver.

  3. trust your instructor. he/she is there to help you, and is trained to give you as much support as you need. dont forget, your instructor has pedals as well, so dont worry too much about making mistakes, as they can help you with that, and with each lesson you get more and more confident until your ready to take your test.

  4. Practice makes,  well if not perfect,  better.

You fell off a bicycle your first tries too,  didn't you?

  5. I passed my driving test 15 years ago. When I first started learning it was very nerve wracking. I had a tendency to look at the gearstick when changing gear etc. Now it all seems so natural. I can operate the radio and all the controls of the car without taking my eyes of the road. Just stick at it and it'll become second nature.

  6. dont be nevus and dont stay up late before u are gonna do it and trie to make friends with tha teacher it always helps when theres a friend by ur side helping u

    *LERN TO DRIVE*

  7. It is just practice, how did you find typing the first time thats harder,Get someone you can trust go to an old carpark or a  area to get practice ,This way its not pressureising   and will give  you time to think, All the best

  8. everyone got to start somewhere  just needs time and lessons

my best advice is stick at it and don't give up.

  9. yeah everyone feels like this when they have their 1st lesson. just relax and listen to your instructor and you will be fine. remember practise makes perfect and when u get ur licence u feel so free

  10. If you are that nervous, go into a parking lot to practice... low speeds.

Also, for the love of god, if you can, learn to drive on an automatic car, that way there will be no gear changes to do... you press on the gas or the brake that is it!

After you master driving, then learn the manual part... makes it easier to concentrate on the basics instead of learning everything at once.

  11. As you get older, you'll improve. Practice is all there is to it. Try driving on days like Sunday a.m. when traffic is lightest.

  12. The most important thing is to only take things one small step at a time. The commonest cause of nerves is trying to do too much too quickly - instructors often feel pressured into teaching to much too soon incase the pupil gives them grief for not learning fast enough.

Go at your own pace. If you feel at all nervous about moving to the next stage - tell your instructor. You must feel completely comfortable about what you have already learned before moving to busier roads or trying more complicated manoeuvres. I could rabbit on about this for hours - but you get my drift.

    Good luck.

  13. Of course it will ... you just need practice.

  14. Say to your self i'm in control of this lump of metal, it won't do any thing i dont want it to do i'm in control.

  15. Why don't you stop worrying about how you are going to do and just do it, you will be fine.

  16. just 'try' and enjoy it, try and get some1 u know to take u out in there car, have as much practise as u can inbetween ur driving lessons. i used to have my dad take me out (who isnt the most patient person in the world !) but it worked, he used to take my out b4 i even started my driving lessons so when i decided to have lessons i was clued up b4 them.

the reason i say (try to) enjoy them is that i only had 7 lessons, went for my test, and believe it or not i was lookin forward to it !!! and i passed first time. it was a long time ago now thou and there was not the written test involved then :) !

i really hope that u get over ur nervousness, make sure u do what ur instructor is tellin u, stick to the speed limit and let other cars just take care of themselves, try not to worry what every1 els is doin, its bad enough trying to remember what YOU have to do, never mind every1 els !!!

it will get easier hun and u will get the confidence u need to pass ur test...... safe driving x*x

  17. There is just one word, 'practice'

    And then more 'practice'.

    And again 'practice'

Thats all there is to it.

Its harder, and takes more practice, the older you are.

Better to persevere and practice now.
