My first keg party?

im going to my first keg party and am a little bit nervous, i dont plan on getting hammered or anything. ahhh im really nervous!

any tips on not embarrassing myself or help preventing anything "bad" that might happen?

oh and i do drink, just not much in public.

i agree with beck b... SAY no to keg stands, if you dont know what they are, you'll know after the kegger...

Just make sure you have a safe way home and have fun, there's nothing to be nervous about just dont do something your not sure of, thats all! :)

you'll get hammered. even if you don't plan on it. and no tips can save you from being embarrassed once you're drunk. But the good news is, everyone will be so no one really cares.

So you don't plan on getting hammered, but you don't want to embarrass yourself.  I think you just answered your own question.  Although, as they say, the road to h**l is littered with good intentions, so let's be honest here:  you are probably going to end up overindulging.  Don't DRIVE, use the buddy system(you and your friends need to look out for each other), avoid getting inebriated by drinking water in between beers and if you are under age---I'm not going to tell you not to go cuz I'm realistic and it wasn't long ago that I was in your position but just be aware--you could get in a lot of trouble if this party gets out of control.  Once again. let me stress, DO NOT DRIVE.  Oh, and stick to beer and water, avoid shots or punches, NO good will come of them.

Well first off... know where your exits are. If this is your first kegger than you aren't 21 and and get an MIP or thrown in jail for the night if the cops grab you. Second and actually this is the most important and remember this for the rest of your life: NEVER LEAVE YOUR DRINK ALONE!! I seriously can not stress that enough... the moment you put your drink down you run the risk of getting roofied. I had this happen to a few of my friends, so please be aware. After that you said you drink, so you know your limit. Just try to keep a buzz going. Good Luck and have fun!
