  1. Go with your gut, if you love something then buy it.  But now a day, the gas are going way up, it is good idea to buy a small car and have a 2nd car the one that you really love, which is 2004 Chrysler Concorde.  That's my 2cents.

  2. Personally, I love the Chrysler LH cars! (Concorde, 300M, Intrepid, etc.) I have lots of experience in an Intrepid (Lots of Intrepid Taxicabs!) and greatly appreciate its very comfortable ride and high-tech look. Really, I love the look of these cars. You can also get them at an inexpensive price.

But consider the following. The LH cars, although they look nice on the inside and out, aren't known for their reliability. They have been noted to be unreliable, and the last thing you need as your first car is for it to break down. Also, consider fuel efficiency- big cars, though nice, are very costly at the pumps. If you're going to buy a bigger, more luxerious car, consider the price of your insurance, which will likely be higher. And since I'm assuming you're a new driver, you've got to think about the size of the car- are you ready to parallel park that dinosaur downtown, or try passing cars on the highway when you can't see some in your giant blind spots?

Just some things to think about. But if you are passionate about the car and are smitten' with its looks, you should go for it- after all, what's the fun of a car if you aren't totally loving it?

The Ford Explorer? Forget it! Gas is approaching 4 Bucks a Gallon, and the last thing anyone needs is a dent in their wallet or purse!

Other suggestions? Why not try a Honda Accord or any Volvo if you want a bigger car. They are more reliable, a bit smaller and probably more fuel-efficient, but still big(ger). Remember, their are always smaller cars out there too that look nice.

Hope this helps you find a good new car. I love big cars, but remember the things that come with them!
