As far as I know, you cannot edit or change any old messages in groups once they are sent to the group. The only way to get rid of them is to delete them. And you can only do this if you are the owner of the group or the moderator who is given the privilege to do so.

why would you want to,unless you want to edit a old message to use it s content in court to prove a lie is real.

you cant edit a post once it's hit the archives- only thing you can do is delete it. sorry
