  1. First week, 25 miles, that's very good!

(From 0 miles, to 25 miles in one week!)

Running gets easier over time.  Even by the end of week 2, you should see it much easier to accomplish what you are doing today.

You will physically change in more ways than one.  For example - you may develop more red blood cells, allowing you to breathe and use oxygen better.

  2. That's EXCELLENT!!!!!

No matter what your coach says, if you get tired, it's okay to go slower.

She's not gonna kick you off the team.

    Keep it up!

  3. Yeah 25 miles is good

Its not good to slow down while running

its better to pace yourself and run the same pace the whole race

    except maybe at the end

  4. Well during the summer, you should have been running a little bit.

Because as I tell my runners:

"Cross country is a summer sport that is played in the fall"

You might not be as fast as you could be if you did summer training, but I'm sure you'll do fine. Just try to enjoy it!

    Good luck!
