  1. Sounds like he's on his way out, sorry! Let him go in peace!

  2. FIRST THING'S FIRST: Don't worry - Swim Bladder is very easily cured if you know what you're doing.

    Your fish will be fine in a few days, just follow these easy steps;

    1. Diet your fish for 3 days (i.e. NO feed for 3 days). This clears the fish's digestive system and is NOT harmful.

    2. Take out a few peas from the freezer and boil them. Then cool them down with cold water. Squeeze them between your fingers so that the insides pop out. Throw away the skin, cut up the insides and feed for another 3 DAYS.

    3. Your fish should be fully recovered after the 6-day treatment period.

    * If he/she is not cured, repeat the treatment OR seek veterinary advice.

    Good luck and best of wishes!

  3. ok, can i be completely honest with you..i had my fish for 2 years a beta fish and 4 days before he passed i noticed he was swimming on his side and trying to swim up but he couldn't, he would kind of have seizures and fall back down :(  Sounds like he is about to pass.  Soo sad i know, but atleast he lived a happy life, i had someone else flush him in the toilet, hey and i was always told when a fish is flushed down the toilet the go into the ocean and come back to life :)  (cute huh)

  4. take him to the vet or flush him down the loo

  5. i think its time for fishy to go

  6. gonna die soon so down the drain

  7. not much you can do for a fish. wait it out and see what happens, maybe he'll pull through
