  1. Well.......it's not 100% predictable with fish however I've owned lots of fish and that's usually the first sign of them dying......however it doesn't always happen right away......it can take a month or longer......it's really hard to say. You can't do anything for your fish, but they don't sleep in a lying position......try feeding your fish, if it doesn't eat it's probably not doing so good.

  2. I have fish and usually when the fish is floating or on the bottom of the tank its in its last stages. There is not much you can do but let it pass on without bothering it. Its sad but things have to pas on, sorry

  3. I Think He Is Dead

  4. First of all, why would you touch ur fish? My fish do that when they are dying. Its really wierd, like they can't control where they go. Sorry to say, ur fish might be dying.

  5. I have had a fish tank in the past, and fish usually react in the way you described when they are passing on.

I hope this isn't the case, but it may possibly be.  Sorry.

  6. that means that they will die cause they might not get enough oxygen  or they getting real old and they lay on one of there sides and when somebody touches it it floats back up and here in like a day or two it will die and you can tell when you fish is dead cause it is up on the top and it will stay on its back

  7. My fish is acting like that too! I talked to him and gave him treats EVERYDAY for  a month and he's starting to act normal again. :D

Anyway, I wish you and your betta GOOD LUCK!! :) I'll be praying for you guys! :D

  8. one thing i would do is if you have a petsmart around, take in a water sample..they do free water testing there. make sure nothing is wrong with any chemicals in the water.

i see things like this happen all the time. and it is usually caused by too much or too little of the chemicals in the water.

  9. I'm sorry that you are so worried, you must really care for your fish. :) Your fish might be sick and dying. But it's ok, these things must happen for life to go on. Observe him for the next few days because he just might be resting or  really bored. Good luck. :) (and give my best wishes to your fish)

  10. i think it gonna be dying at first but he might be surive.. feed it if it refuse to eat so he will dies.

i m sorry.. buy new one.

  11. I don't think there anything you can do for a fish but I'm not an expert why don't you call you vet. See what he/she says maybe its his water or something. But is it OK to touch your fish?
