Question:

My fish is swimming wobbly?

i went on vaction for 2 days and didnt feed my danios. when i came back they were fine except for the pink one ( a glo>>>fish)

who wasnt really eating and was swimming wobbly. but its not swim bladder disase i am pretty sure. i had my danios for 1 year in a 5 gallon tank. i have 4. and i know to upgrade soon

so what is wrong with my pink fishie? =[

  1. Its possible that it might be dying..my beta did that and he died..he might die then he might not..just keep an eye on him..good luck with the pink fishie!


  2. I would start by double checking your chlorine and heavy metal levels, and also the ammonia concentration in your tank. Simple tests for these can be found at your local pet shop if you do not already use them. One more thing you wanna check for is if it is going to lay eggs. if it is swelled, slow, and doting on the bottom alot it may be getting ready to lay eggs. The last possibility is if it ate too much. lol. That happens too. If so, it will get over it on its own in a few days. Since you have already ruled out the bladder problems...it seems i am out of suggestions ;] I hope this helps you and I hope your fish gets well. Good Luck !
