At 7:30 pm today (july 30th) my mom took us to wal-mart to get some stuff for breakfast, lunch and dinner. my older brother had gotten a fish and it dies (it was a angle fish) so he was going to get more fish. My mom said that we could get fish (now it was about 8:30-9 pm) i had my moms friend that works there 2 and he said that that fish was pregnit. so i bought her.

when we got home (qurter to 10pm) i had let my fish get used to the water. then in a cupple sec after i put her in. i saw something out of the corner of my eye. IT WAS A BABY FISH. so we watched her have the rest of the babies and i took her out cause idk if she was fullie done. so now i need to know one thing

  1. Keep them seperated from the mom because she may eat them. Make sure that the fry are kept in clean water. You can feed them crushed up tropical fish food or you can go purchase some food made specifically for baby fish. Its really fine && easy for the fry to eat. Youre gonna want to feed them about 3 times a day, but only a very small amount because they really dont need much food because of their small size. Along with the fry food, I feed my fry brine shrimp eggs && live baby brine shrimp that Ive hatched && grown myself. Good luck with your fish =]

  2. ahem, i doubt it very much that you have a black tetra, because they're egglayers

however, i believe you have a black molly

    look at the pic here

    as for caring for them

you need to feed them 3-4 times a day with either crushed up flake food until it's like a powder or get "First Bites" which is already powder fry food

    same thing, feed 3-4 times
