I have a south african chiclid. He looks perfectly fine. But he is having a hard time swimming. It is like the back half of his body wants to float up. So he has just been hanging at the top and only swims down when forced to by other fish that are messing with him. Is there anything I can do for him?

  1. Sounds like swim bladder disease. I have never heard of this in a cichlid, but that what it sounds like! You should thaw out a pea. Take the sheloff and break it into bite sized peices for him. Feed this to him once a day and he should get better!=)
