Question:

My fish only eats flakes, is that okay?

hes a juvenile green terror cichlid and he ONLY eats regular tropical fish flakes. I have tried giving him krill, shrimp, worms, basically anything your supposed to give them. what I am wondering is if this is bad for his diet? any way of getting him to eat other stuff??

  1. Its not that bad for his diet but you wouldn't wanted to eat Hot Dogs everyday unless you just really love Hot Dogs so maybe he just always have a craving for Flakes!!!!!


  2. its okay some perfer flakes over the other stuff as long as they EAT !!

  3. all fish should eat more then just flakes go to the local petstore and look for more types of chichild foods and look for ones enriched with vitamins and minerals!also try mixing the flakes and other treats like shrimp together!

  4. Thats fine. most house fish only eat fish flakes/ pellets(for betta fish)
