i have just a little goldie and a couple of others. They did have a run in with ick but i took care of it right away and no problems since. But.... my little goldie has had a white spot on it's tail for about 3 weeks now. It doesnt seem to bother him and there completely healthy. Is this something i should worrie about? Or could it just be that the fish has a white spot?

  1. It might be just the colouring on the fish.Or if the fish gets any more white spots , this could mean that it has a diesase called white spots you have to get a treatment for it or it could die.

  2. well since its a gold fish

when they're in the dark long enough

    they will start loosing color

    so that could be why?!

  3. I'm not an expert but i did have a gold fish that did the exact same thing. all it ended up being was she turned white it took awhile for it to turn totally white but that was all that happened so if it really doesn't seem to bother it i wouldn't worry.

  4. Goldfish quite often injure their fin and it leaves an opaque spot.

  5. IF ich has all ready gone in the body and isn't on the outside you cant kill it. I would put more treatment in the water.  You should look into a saltbath.
