My fish wont eat?

why wont my fish eat i had it a week ago i have tried eveything

Maybe you not feeding it the recommend diet! Some fish are picking and will only eat certain things. Also not all fish will eat fish flakes. Look up your particular fish and see what kind of diet is appropriate for it.

It would help alot if you stated what type of fish you have, and the type of environment (Water temperature, Water parameters etc) you have the fish in.  If you have high ammonia content, low oxygen in the water, or the water itself is to cold for that type of fish, it will cause the fish to not want to eat.

Also if you do know what kind of fish you have , you could do a little research of what type of food that fish likes.
