  1. If your taking him to the vets on monday then it will be fine, just tell the vet what happened and that your worried about his leg and if there is anything wrong the vet will find out for you. If hes still walking and wagging like a happy puppy then you should really stop worrying he will be fine =]

  2. He could have sprained something, pulled a muscle.  If he doesn't seem like he's in pain then see if this clears itself up.  If, however, you are extremely concerned taking him to an vet ER just to get him checked out.  You can do that today and not have to wait for tomorrow.  Just let him do what he wants to do.  Or you could crate him and allow him to rest, take him out and see if he's still limping. If you want answers today then a vet ER is your best options.

  3. We can't tell you what's wrong on here. Only a vet can tell you, and they need to actually examine and manipulate the leg to find out what's going on. We can't do that over the internet!

  4. Well, you didn't give any details except that he's limping. I can't tell you exactly what is wrong without examining him but I can give you some ideas.

If he is limping very badly and not moving his foot/leg then I would say either a broken or fractured bone.

If he is still walking on it, then it can be anything from a bruise to a sprain or strain.

You will know right off if its just a bruise because he will be walking relatively normal after a day or two.

Hope that helps, feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.

  5. He will be Fine :)

just give him your love and care..make sure he gets plenty of rest also!

my 5 month old jack russell fell down the stairs one time, his front paw was sore, but a few days later he was ok tank god..

    Good Luck <3

  6. puppys are pretty flexable and clumsy at this age and he will probably get a few more wacks before he is full grown.check his leg and paw and hip for any bumps or swelling that feels abnormal. he might or sprained his leg or bruised it a little and he should bounce back.if he can put weight on it and is still running and playing he might just forget his sore and continue on.watch when he moves around and if he favors the leg or won't walk on it, then see how the next few hours go. if he is showing a lot of pain and is crying and refusing to walk then call ur vet and as long as there is no swelling or bones pushing against the skin wait till monday.their bones are growing so sometimes with big breeds their bones can snap easily where as smaller breeds are more flexable. i hope he is ok. good luck

  7. It will be ok do not worry. Bring him to the vet to x-ray. Just to make sure there is no fracture on his leg.

But now, do not let him walk around. Carry him around.

I remember my little Nina who fell down from staircase also limping. I brought her to the vet 1 day after she fall down. I do not let her to walk around and carry her. The vet x-ray her leg and give one injection and antibiotics. After 1 week recover!
