I do not know what to do. Everytime I turn my back he is hurting one of his little brothers for no reason. I have tried everything I can think of to get him to stop. his brothers will not even be doing anything to provoke him, and out of the blue he will punch them or trip them. It is impossible to watch them all the time. like when I go to the restroom or am making dinner. I just do not know what to do anymore. It is very strange because his teachers always say that he is well behaved at school. I am wondering if he has some kind of learning disorder. he has a speech inpediment. I just need some advice. why is he like this?He also had lead poisoning when he was two, but he has always been like this. It is just becoming more frequent as he gets older.

  1. He seems like he might be getting more attention at school. Is he the oldest child. He can get jealous of the attention the younger children are getting. Children learn to get attention, it can be positive attention or negative, but either way children will get the attention they so desperately need. He is too old to be throwing these tantrums. Have you consider the possibility of getting him counseling. I had a shrink at the age of three. I had a lot of family problems. I as a child was dealing with my parents getting a divorce, and i was also sexual abuse by my parents friends. My parents never knew, because i was embarrassed and a shame, I kept it in, and in return i was extremely violent towards anyone and everyone that came to close to me. My point is I had to see a shrink, and get help for my behavior. There has to be something triggering this behavior. Do you and your spouse fight around the children, is he jealous of the younger children, because the younger children needs more attention. These are the question that need to be answered. I am now in my thirties, and with a little help I turned out okay. Good luck and never give up. Do not be afraid to get your child some help, this could be the best thing for your child's future. It work for me. And now i work with children. I am a preschool teacher and if i can help a child in any way, than i have done what God called me to do.

  2. If he is behaving well at school, he doesn't have a disorder. This means that he can control it. HE'S A BOY. When I was little, I would beat the c**p out of my brother and sister, until I got to about 8 years old and then I stopped. He's just a boy and discovering one of the many past times a boy enjoys, violence, fire, and girls.

  3. you have 3 children under 5? does this poor kid get enough attention?

  4. If you think he could have a disorder..talk to his doctor. Maybe get him a tearipist. I hope this helped.
