  1. you could try using Zud it removes iron stain perhaps it will work on the burned spot s as well

you could also try baking soda

  2. marble is a porous stone. there are no cleaners that will remove a burn mark off of the stone, and household cleaners that contain acids or other chemicals (bleach, vinegar, ammonia, etc) will damage the marble surface and it will lose its shine.

the safe way is to have it sanded out (using a very light/fine grain sandpaper) and then have it buffed/polished to bring back the shine

  3. if your marble has a finish on it that is most likely what you have burned. a good polishing compound might take it out but then that spot would be dull and unprotected. if you have heated the marble to where it has discolored i don't think you will ever get it out. if you know a good stone dealer i would call them and see what they say before you make the spot worse.  if you where working on a quilt with the iron check out QuiltinganCrafting.com and find yourself an iron that has it's own rest.

  4. You can try but most of the time you will need to polish it out with a fine grinding compound and buffer.

Marble is ground to a polished finished and will need to be done that way to remove any blimishes.
