My flat screen wont power on

Question

i am wondering if my flat screen requires it own power connection??? it has a standard power connection on the back just like a regular crt monitor or computer tower i plug it in and the power lights up green and just blinks does this model require a power converter??? or something other than you standard cord if you need any additional info please let me know thank you Jason p.s. the product is a vison flat screen model name MR19-H1AD product name V1922DB INPUT:100-240V~ 20-60 Hz
