My flatmates are really untidy, i dont know what to do?

I have just moved into a really nice flat withen the past few weeks, and I get on with the flatmates fine. One of them owns the place (girl), and the other is her boyfriend. After living here for the first few weeks I have allready noticed that the guy has been totally pussywhipped and she gets him to do anything for her (make food, buy stuff... fix stuff) . Problem is both of them are really , really lazy. They NEVER empty the bin and even when they are both on a day off I come back from work and theres a massive pile of dishes in the kitchen. The worst part is, the other night they both went out and got drunk and one of them was sick on the bathroom floor. Its been a day now and niether of them has cleaned it up, dunno about you but thatsdefinatly the kinda thing I would see to first thing the morning after :-\ I really dont know what to do as they are nice enough people and the flats really good ( I wont find anouther ) just this is driving me nuts! :-(

Why are you putting up with that!? Tell them you did not agree to live in a pig sty, and are moving out, without any fees.  That is uncalled for!

Well there's no such thing as perfect when you have to room with someone.

However, you can always speak to them about the matter. I wouldn't expect them to become neat freaks but maybe at least maybe you can convince them to clean up their vomit.

And you haven't even mentioned it to them? Those are unacceptable living conditions, and if they are like that during the first few weeks, it can only get worse. I hope you didn't sign any papers or put down any deposits. You need to find another place, the sooner the better. Don't tell them you are looking until you have found it, though, and move everything out right away so they don't have time to take out any resentments on your stuff.

And by the way, a "really nice" flat is not really nice if it is a pigsty. Why pay good money to live in filth?

Vomit in the bathroom is very unsanitary.  You need to speak to them and told them that you didn't realize that they do chores differently than you do.  I wouldn't call it a nice flat if the place is trashed.  Would rather live in a very clean "closet" than a very dirty spacious flat.

Like the 2nd poster, I think you may want to start to look elsewhere.  Keep your options open.  Hopefully you didn't sign anything.
