My foal...?

Question

Hi what do you think i should call my foal? Stable and show name please. My mare is a thorughbred cross hanoverian and will be bred with a top class sport stallion, as shes very highly trained herself. Shes 15.2hh and a liver chestnut if that helps your imagination? Oh and shes called Dancer. Her show names supposed to be princess smartie pants!? (I DIDNT CHOOSE IT!!! :p)

Anyway any ideas? Thanks.

p.s - more info can be supplied, but i need a question to answer any...

Use something from the stallion's name to keep the foal's value. i.e. you will see "Peppy" or "Chex"    or    " ...Bars"  used in Quarter horses.  Look at the stallion's name & maybe his sire's name. Will he foal be registered ?  Maybe wait until it's born & something will identify him/her to you right away. Personaility or color plays a lot in a name. Have fun with the foal !

uhm how about lilly for the foal? i love that name. as for the showname i have no idea. im not too good with those kind of things unless i know the horse. but good luck! (sorry i couldnt help more!)

How about Fancy Pants and Fancy for short?  For a filly, and how about Pancer Dancer for a colt?

it would be eaiser if oyu gave the registered name of the dads you were looking at but ill give ya guy stabe names

boy- joe, slim,zip, clever, lewis, booger

Have you picked the stallion? If so what is his name?

ADD: The best bet for a show name is to take something from the sire and dam, I'll give you some examples of horses we've bred:

Wouldn't You Want To? + Just Delight = Wouldn't You Just? (Colt, stable name Woody)

Black Jack + Take a Choice = Take It Back Jack (Colt, stable name Jack)

Black Jack + Take a Choice = Jack's First Choice (Filly, stable name Choice)

You see the pattern :-)
