  1. Clean your fridge out, make sure nothing has gone bad. Dump all that ice, give the bin a good wipe down and then make more. Put a box of baking soda in there to keep things fresh. That should make everything better =)

  2. and how do you know what your fridge tastes like? I'll bet theres an interesting story there

  3. First you have to clean your refrigerator really well. Throw out all old foods, wash out all the bins and bottom of refrigerator. Then place a box of open Arm & Hammer baking soda on the top shelf of frig in the back. That will prevent odors in your frig, and keep everything tasting fresh and what it SUPPOSED to taste like.

  4. Open boxes of baking soda and making sure your food containers are tightly sealed. Also don't keep foods with really strongs scents (garlic, onions, etc) in your fridge for too long.

  5. Your fridge needs cleaned. Take everything out of it and unplug it for 24 hours. Clean it with a warm washcloth dipped in bleach water. Then go back over it with a good cleansing soap. Let it dry and then be sure to put a box of open baking soda in the door or fridge compartment somewhere. If your freezer is the same, it needs to be defrosted. There should be a care manual with the appliance.

  6. Newer refrigerators have a filter that needs to be replaced every six months. The filter helps take out bad odors, etc. If not replaced, the odors will settle into your food.

If your refrigerator is an older model, then you can leave a box of baking soda in the fridge to absorb the odors.

  7. The simplest solution is baking soda and regularly checking to make sure foods haven't gone bad.  There are a few other ideas on my source below.
