My four year old son crying his stomach hurts?

Is little while ago my four year old is crying that his stomach hurts. He crying on and off. I do believe him. Right now I think he needs a bowel movement. So I try to give him his medicated bowel movement powered to put in a drink to soften up his stools. His stools does get big or hard. So I give him that but it hurts so bad that he not hardly drinking. I give him some tyenol for the pain. Could it be something else is bothering. Should I go ahead and call his doctor to get him checked out..

my son is 7yrsold, this morning he was crying he didnt feel well, he threw up water that i gave him, but that was it. All day he has been crying on and off that he has a pain in his tummy, from his belly button straight up just befor his sternum...At one stage he looked really yellow..Hes done a little bowel movement which hurt his bottum..Could it be just that he might be consitpated..
