  1. Is the aerial outside? Freeview aerials work best outside and as high as possible Channel 4 is always the weakest signal

  2. re scan : i was missing a channel like your self i did have to rescan a couple of times in between moving the ariel into a different position before you scan

  3. What sort of Freeview box is THAT selective.........! - give it a new scan or move your aerial or both.

The only consolation is that you're not missing much ! ! !

  4. Ok switch to regular TV and retune your TV.  if you get a decent picture then the problem is your set top box - if not, your main aerial is out of position.

I often cant get channel 5 on freeview and several others during the day but they do often reappear at night.  A new souped up aerial will cost me £160 (which is what I need.

  5. Check your antenna and with your local TV shop to see if you have the signal in your area.

  6. As David says, it is your TV aerial. You are obviously in a week signal area and it can not pick up some of the frequencies. Phone your local TV aerial company out of the yellow pages.
