I have cleaned it out with bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar and at the moment the doors are open. Is there anything I can do whilst it is standing empty with the doors shut.

  1. One of the main things is keep it dry. If here is moisture in thre mold wil grow like crazy. But someting in there that will absorb moisture.

  2. Prop it open while you're gone and put a box of baking soda in it during the time you're gone.

  3. You should always leave the door slightly ajar, because if shut, germs will fester inside.

  4. The best option is to prop the door open half an inch or so & leave it unplugged until you are ready to reuse it.

  5. grounded coffee or a lemon cut in half should keep it smelling fresh

  6. Put a open box of baking soda in it, or several

  7. Just keep the doors open.

  8. Keep the doors open.Or at least ajar.

  9. leave a dish of sodium bicarbonate in it.
