  1. This is really quite common for boys, even as late as 11 and 12.  A boy's bladder is usually one of the last things developmentally to catch up with the rest of him and can be quite small until puberty hits.  Add to that that many boys have some really deep Delta and Rem sleep where their bodies are basically comatose for awhile and bodily function has little conscious control.  There is no reason to make it an issue and definitely don't focus on it.  If he needs some overnight pants, that's an option, but at this age it is best not to make it a psychological issue because that can cause it to go on for even longer.  For some boys, its just something they deal with longer than others.  Having him be responsible for washing the sheets and cleaning up can help, but again focusing on it can often times make it worse.  He'll grow out of it soon.

  2. overactive bladder

  3. He must be stressing about something. Or maybe he's a nervous kid.

  4. That's pretty common,I have heard it happen as old as twelve.Don't worry he will grow out of it.

  5. It's possible that he has a weak bladder. He probably can't help it and many children his age have this problem. Just help him through it, that's the best you can do. Hope this helps.

  7. It's pretty common and no big deal.  Just continue to be his friend.  If he wants, wearing GoodNites can keep his bed dry and warm with easier clean up in the morning.  Again, no big deal, he'll probably grow out of it later.  Friendship shouldn't be based on a person's growth patterns.

  8. my sister did not stop wetting the bed until she was11 but it is normal
