  1. Clean thoroughly under the fridge. All those dust balls and stuff really screws up the compressor.

  2. Empty it,unplug it,and leave the doors open for a day.Plug it back in,set the stat at the mid position and you should be O.K.

  3. Number 1 is usually the warmest setting not the coldest setting. Reset the thermostat to middle setting probably between 3 and 4, clean out the drip drain at back as if this is blocked you will get water at bottom of the fridge, may need to use a coathanger or a bottle brush to clear the drain (if blocked get a piece of tubing and use this to blow clear).

Make sure the door is shutting tight all the way round (if on unlevel floor it might not seal - have you moved it recently?)

Pull it out and Hoover the grille at the back to make it clear of all dust.

Make sure the room temp that it is in is not too cold as they dont work well in cold rooms!!

If not better, then need engineer - possible re-gas but this means there is a leak to lose it in first instance so could be start of frequent repairs.

  4. needs a recharge, all of your gas has leaked out. it will be cheaper to buy a 2nd hand one as your looking at app £60

  5. Make sure that its not in a cold room such as a garage, some will not work below a certain temperature.

  6. needs to be cleaned out and defrosted

  7. I think thats your problem right there.

Number 1 is the lowest setting
