My fridge has been leaking on the inside; it appears to be coming from the bottom of the freezer. Some days it's just a few drops but others it seems to build a puddle in no time.

Please help.

  1. It is probably part of the auto defrost system for your freezer.  Make sure you clean under the fridge and in the back.  Dust collects under and behind them really bad & they can overheat & create problems too.

  2. Defrost and Refrost.

  3. Sounds like the condensation drain is clogged.

Open the freezer part, unscrew screws that hold a plastic cover, find where the drain is, melt the ice that clogs it.

For step by step instructions visit the site bellow.

  4. CK THE GASKETS ON THE REFRIG.DOOR,MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT BAD,

IF THATS NOT THE PROBLEM,THEN CK THE FREEZER,MAKE SURE ITS NOT FROZE UP.IT MAY BE FROZE OR CLOGGED,IN THE DRAIN,THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO CK IT,WAIT TIL YOU ARE READY TO BUY GROCERIES,AND TURN IT OFF AND LET IT DEFROST COMPLETELY,THAT WILL UNCLOGE IT &UNSTOP IT TO. TRY IT YOU'LL SEE..

  5. we cleaned under our fridge 1-2times a month and our defrost still ended up going

  6. Starshad is correct about keeping it clean. but the water is part of the defrost cycle it is supposed to drain into a pan beneath the refer and evaporate. in your case its not draining. pull all the shelf,s out of the refer starting at the top you should find a little tube or drain hole on the back wall (on some refers they are hidden)  get a vacuim and try to clean the obstruction out. if you dont find the drain you may need a servicer to do this good luck
