My fridge is now darwinism?

Survival of the fittest! And so far, that's the greenish-black stuff. It's completely taken over the red-stuff, and the red-stuff is responding by over-running the pure-green-stuff. How can I buff the numbers for the red-stuff? I've already decided it's a lost cause for the green-stuff. I'm pretty sure the red-stuff was once a steak.
