My friend's eye has been turning red for the past 2 days--could it be internal bleeding?

On a flight home, he noticed his left eye turning red--the top half of his left eye is tomato red, no exaggeration. Today, it got worse. Maybe a blood vessel popped? Overexposure to heat? Internal eye bleeding? What could it be? Do you know anyone with this condition, and what they did to cure it? Any tips on what to do? Does anyone know what this could lead to??

it havens to me when playing on a beard ...

or maby when not sleping well and sit on computer much time

or maby it is just an Sensitivity
