she is a teddy bear hamster.we dont know her age.her bottoms not wet, but crusty like it was wet. she also is sorta hunched over. we wraped her in a towel, and she sorta calmed down after that. and then she got more active. we're not sure if it's a cold, asperrila fungus, or wet tail, etc. she lays down all of a sudden and looks like shes dead. but she heaves and when we touch her she moves and stands up. her heart beats very fast. So what do i do? is there any way to help her before we get to the vet? PLZ HELP

  1. Turn off whatever AC you may have on by her first of all, then keep her as warm and comfortable as you can. Then find any all-night emergency vet clinic you possibly can. Also look at the food she ate, check her stoole and retrace her steps, that may help you diagnose what's wrong with her.

  2. buy a new one LOL

    joke ^_^

ur friend's hamster is so sick man shes not feeling well

so dnt play with her ...    or let say give her a time to rest 1st

and after 12 or 24 hrs and not happend

TAKE HER TO THE VET asap !!!

  3. Probably wet tail. Find a 24 hour vet. If you can't go in the morning asap! Good Luck with your hamster!

  4. that happened to me once... um my mom took her to the vet and they gave her a little bottle of liquid for my teddy bear hampster to drink. im sooo sorry i don't know what else to do

  5. ok - listen

She is sick and the only thing you can do is this

put a water bowl and food (her favourites) right infront of her. place her in a warm place with it, and leave her alone.

If she is in  pain, touching her will only make it worse. Let the little critter be, and hopefully, until you can take her to the vet, she will be alright. If not, let her die in peace.

  6. FIND AN EMERGENCY ANIMAL CLINIC

In the mean time keep her warm and find out if she got into anything poisonous. Comfort her and tell her that it's okay. She will need to hear a good tone in your voice.
