My friend's phone was rained on, and it works, but the backlight won't turn off?

It sits there and wastes batteries. What should she do?

she should see her back light settings. if that doesn't work she can just go to her cell phone provider and ask them. they shouldn't charge her anything unless her phone is broken. She probably will have to get a new one.
