My friend Bought a Comcast Modem But he can't connect to the PS3 Network, Any ideas? 10 POINTS

After its connected with the ethernet cord unplug the modem for about 2 minutes. (If its the comcast modem for the phone as well you have to hit the reset button because those have the backup battery in them)

After you plug it back in follow this:

Go to

Settings

Network Settings

Internet Connection and choose wired and go with all the automatic choices. When you are done it will do a connection test. It should go through. If not go to gamerencounter.com and find me there. My name is Doogie86 there. (Thats also my PSN name)
