My friend accidentally smashed a bus window....?

It was an accident.

I'm sure there is insurance that will cover the damage.  Your friend should just be honest and own up to it.

He'd probs have a bit of an issue with the bus driver.. if the bust driver gets larry, police might be involved.. as for what he can get.. a fine?? he won't be sent to prison dont worry :P
