  1. American Airlines, and Aer Lingus it also depends on what time of year you want to go.  You can get good deals going to London Heathrow and then catch a short jump over to Ireland.  Where are you going?  I can give you a heads up on cheap hotels or bed and breakfasts.

They also have open hotel rooms but if you go in the summer time during their high tourists season you will have a hard time getting a hotel for a number of days or b& Bs if you are planning to go in summer time you need ot book it two months at least in advance.

Also I dont know how old you are but some hostels are very nice and clean in Ireland and very reasonable.  You can go to telstravel.com and look at the student hostel association site.

Ireland is one of the more safer places in Europe.  You still need to be careful about Northern Ireland but they are trying to get more tourist to go.  Dublin is reasonable for hotels.  Galway is very expensive but is a good place for young people to visit.

Shannon is the second largest airport and very reasonable hotels Galway is an hour away and Dublin is two hours and you can get transportation cheap or ride the train

  2. Me and a group of family and friends (30 of us) just went to Ireland over Thanksgiving. It cost a total of 800 bucks a person for Airfare, lodging, and a bus with a driver. Best tips to go cheap, go between October and March. Airfare is usually about 300 bucks round trip, and renting self catering places run about 250 Euro for a Sat- Sun stay and sleep usually 6-8 (and they don't check if you cram 12 in...they just won't have a bed.) Youth Hostels work too, if you can't get 6 people to go with you. The other good money saving point with self catering is that you can go to the grocery store at the beginning of the week, get all your food, and save a ton of money not eating out!

  3. airfare: usairway, continental are competive and probaly cheapest. no do not book hotels, bed-breakfasts are good and cheap. you can fid these once you get inot the town or a day earlier except during race week,

  4. Talk to a travel agent !

  5. expidia.com

  6. Youth hostels will be cheaper.  Book before you go.  Where will you be flying from?
