  1. Open all the windows turn on a fan and get out of the bathroom until the fumes dissipate.  Then rinse the area with cool water.

  2. Have to agree that it didn't explode.  It WILL give off a dangerous gas though.  If you are even the least bit serious and did indeed even mix the two, just open all windows, turn on any exhaust fans and ceiling fans for awhile, if you have them.  Go out for a drink, bite to eat, sit by your pool, or whatever. Then just rinse out the shower very well.  Best to do it w/ a hand-held sprayer if you have one.  If not, use buckets to slowly pour a lot of water down the walls, being careful not to splash it on you or out of the tub.  Then, fill up the tub w/ water to be certain neither of the two chemicals are on the sides of it, as could make for a nasty burn next bath if any is left. ;)

If you are making the WHOLE story up, then still do the part where I said to go out for a drink, grab a bite to eat or sit by your pool, etc. as, at the minimum you are VERY bored or have a problem of some sort.  At any rate, get out of the house and DO something, you'll feel better.

  3. Hold your breath!!!!!    The gas released is toxic!!!! DEADLY TOXIC!!!!   If it is safe to do so open the window and close the door turn on the f**t fan if there is one DO NOT RE-ENTER THAT ROOM FOR AT LEAST 30 MIN . Let it air out and ventilate then re-enter and turn on the shower cold water and rinse down the chemicals. ventilate again until you cant smell any clorine gas and DO NOT MIX BLEACH WITH ANY OTHER CLEANERS--- EVER!!!!

  4. This combination produces chloramine gas which is very toxic.  Only thing you can do is flush it all down the drain and ventilate the space and get out of there for a while.  Try not to inhale that as it will rip up your lungs.

You are both prime candidates for the Darwin Awards.

  5. get out of the house!!!!

  6. Well, first of all, you are full of it.  Bleach and ammonia, when mixed, will not explode.  They will merely form a noxious gas that second of all would, in large amounts, knock out and possibly kill you and your roommate.

  7. don't be mixing the 2 up any more....its a killer....makes chlorine gas

  8. first answer and wear a mask, mixing these chemicals causes toxic gas which can be lethal

  9. Obviously you're still alive, if she didnt make it, call the landlord and your lawyer. Sounds like a good law suit, something else exploded, you would have just got sick with that mix. If nobody died, open the windows, get a fan and clean up the mess with safe cleaners. READ THE LABELS!!!

  10. Open a window. The combination of bleach and ammonia releases toxic gas.
