My friend and his papers?

my friend is an imigrant from mexico, he says he is trying to get good grades in school 9th grade, to get his papers and become a citicent, is it possible? sorry for the bad spelling

Im not sure, but maybe he is trying to get into a scholarship maybe?

Depends on his living situation, if one of his parents is nationalized citizen then he has nothing to worry about, but really i think all he is doing is studying so he can pass the immigration exam, i see it all the time at work.
