Depends on your price range and kind of cuisine you like

Mumbai has many restaurants that serve fantastic regional cuisine at reasonable prices

swati snacks and shri krishna fall into that category

China Gate for chinese, Zaffran for Indian/mughlai, Pop Tates for continental, Rajdhani for thali, Little Italy for italian. That's Mumbai, not a clue about Delhi, sorry. Enjoy!
