My friend and i are having a fude about school song, can you help us resolve?

Okay, so i said that it was pretty pathetic that our own school song says, 'bring victory BACK'

She says that it is really funny and that it is just that we did not win the season last year. We didn't win a freakin' single game last year!

Here's the school song.

"Three cheers for ________"(sorry, not saying the name of the school

"bring victory back,

here's to her colors, crimson and the black!

Three cheers for ________

honor her name,

we're gonna FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT

to win, this, game."

So as you can see, it's not really a big fude, but we would like to know who is right.:)

Or do you have your own opinion? Anything would be nice. THANX!

I don't get it. You think it's pathetic and she thinks it's funny?

Anyway...

I think it's kinda weird to say too. Like "we suck so bad, lets try to not suck this time!"

it's just a school song...

it's supposed to "encourage" people.

and it IS pretty funny how you didn't win any games last year, then the song says you'll win.
