My friend and i just made soap and its still liquidy! It wont go into its form!!?

we took liquid soap and added essentials(smells) and food colouring and nowhat do we do so it goes into soap form!!!

you made the soap? from scratch? then you have to remelt it at low temp and stir lye back in..then reform. but if it doesn't work that time, you have to throw it...

on the other hand, if you just took already liquified soap...as in kind you get in a store, and try to make it into formed soap, it won't work. store-bought soap is not technically 'soap'.. it's detergent and made with petroleum products.

ps: when you see the soap in the mold, and there are little bubbles... that is lye that didn't mix... if you've already re-melted, throw it away......

also, don't use food coloring as they can stain, and will not mix in well. use colorants used specifically for soap or cloth dye.

You need to put it in a little container and in the freezer, make sure the mold is how you want it.
