  1. No need to worry. The circuit may have been overloaded. Turn the dryers off.Go to the circuit breaker box and look for a breaker switch that is out of line with the others. Switch it to off, push it hard, then switch it to on. If you have the old type fuses, one of them will be blown out. It will have to be replaced. With the same size fuse. Then plug the hair dryers into different places.

  2. Your circuit breaker was overloaded, no worries, that means it's working properly!

Go to your breaker panel and reset the breaker by pushing it to the "reset" side, and then back to its normal position.

In the future, you should take turns running the hair dryer, or do it in separate rooms.

  3. You tripped a breaker.  Go into the basement, on one wall will be a gray metal box with what looks like switches in it.  Find the breaker that's in a position different from all the rest, and flip it back on.  Hair dryers draw lots of current -- use one at a time.

  4. You overloaded the circuit breaker.  Don't panic!  It's fixable.

First, you'll need to find the circuit breaker box.  If this is your parents' house, they will know where it is located (usually in a utility room or garage, on the wall, covered by a small metal door).

Open the circuit breaker door, and look at the different switches.  You'll notice that all of them are facing the same way (to the "on" position"), but one of them will be facing the other way.  That is the one that you overloaded.  Simply switch it to the "off" position, and then back to the "on" position, and everything should start working again.

But certainly don't use two hair dryers on one circuit again.  If two people need to use high-powered items like that, it's best to go to two different areas of the house to be sure you're on two different circuits.

  5. you overloaded your circuit and it tripped to prevent it from overheating and causing a fire

  6. Check the circuit breaker panel. One of the breakers has been tripped. Those hair dryers draw allot of amps.

  7. you blew a fuse... u hav to go 2 ur circuit braker and turn back on the switch. or u have to reset your outlet

  8. Most bathroom outlet circuits are good for about 2500 watts.  A hairdryer is 1500, two of them is 3000 watts.  The breaker was tripped due to overload.

  9. Go and reset your circuit breaker or replace the blown fuse, they can be found in your main circuit box usually in the garage or basement
