  1. i guess ur boss is wrong hope he'll burn in h**l what a stupid pig

  2. The boss can fire anyone at anytime, because it is an "at will" employment. Hey, it's just a job at McDonalds. No big loss.

  3. That's pretty rude but that's how alot of those fast food place managers are - riding a power trip.  If your friend just lost the fast food job, they are a dime a dozen, no worries he can get another.  As to the manager accusing him of theft and threatening to sue over $5 max after NOT telling your friend how to properly punch out for his break and get his meal?    Yeah that's pretty crazy.  There's no way a multi-million dollar (and probably even billion to be honest) corporation is going to waste $$ in court costs over $5.  If I was your friend I would report that manager to the manager's manager because the manager sounds unbalanced and probably treats the other people working under them just as bad.

The manager was wrong.  Your friend made a simple mistake on their first day and paid for it pretty heavily by losing the job and being ridiculed.  So sorry, and hope your friend finds a job that tells him their policies and treats him better then McD's did.

  4. I think its wrong because you can't break a rule if you don't know it is a rule.

he should have explained the rules and given him a warning that he would get fired if it happened again.  Calling the cops on something that minor is very petty and very extreme.

Unfortunately, if your in a right to work state - its legal.
