My friend belongs to a yahoo group site. She receives spam since joining - how can she stop it?

If her e-mail address a Yahoo Mail address (there may be a similar feature in a non-Yahoo Mail program as well) she can create a filter that will take those spam addresses and send them to the trash automatically.

Also, have her get in touch with the group owner by sending an e-mail to the address that will look something like this: [e-mail]

By letting the owner of that group know what's going on it will also help them try to figure out if there's a problem with how the group's messages are handled or something else could be going on.
