My friend claims to be an elementalist?

He was giving me a back rub the other day because it was pretty achy, and I could feel the heat from his hands radiating through my shirt, it was pretty cool in my room so I know his body temperature wasn't that high. He said it was energy he was emitting to me. He says his main element is fire.. should I believe him?

My main elements are both fire and stone, and I actually have similar control over my own temperature... but it's not because I have fire as a primary element.

I have what's called a sinus arrhythmia, which means that my heart rate can increase or decrease with the way and the rapidity with which I breath. As my heart rate increases, the temperature in my hands increases, often to a very high temperature that some describe as very warm.

This is also similar to the effect that many people describe when receiving a Reiki treatment, but Reiki is usually considered not to originate within a person, but from the power that created life in the universe (aka, God, Qi, Chi, Brahman... the list goes on of attributions).

First ,ask yourself. lf you did trust his words or whether you didn't ,would it affect how you thought of him ?

lf it does ,then you can ask him about his elemental skills. How he discovered ,what are they .lt makes good stories to listen to even if you don't trust their validity ,afterall with something such as as elemetalism there's no point in showing it off.

Meanwhile there's no need to treat him any different, no need to think better of him or worse .Afterall ,if you treated another person better cuz of what and not who they are then how shallow would you be ?

lf he takes the story too far and starts to sound obnoxious, you know what to do.

they have done studies of channeling energy with Buddhist monks and it can be done and radiate as heat. its fairly easy to do. and they have video of them on thermal cameras some of them got their hands up to over 120 degrees F. that doesn't make him an elementalist. unless he can create and control fire. which i would have to see to believe he isnt. it just means he can channel energy.
