Through out the past year I have been really good friends with this one girl and we hung out all the time. Now she doesn't really ask me to hang out anymore and she hangs out with new people since shes going to college and im in my last year of high school.

Thursday we made plans to hang out today(my idea). I sent her an IM asking if we were still hanging out and she doesnt respond and puts up a away message that says shes out seeing a movie with people

what should i do / say to her?

  1. I think thats her way of telling you - letting you down gently - that she is done with hanging out with you - sorry.

  2. It's probably one of the hardest things to do, but just let her go.

She's in college now and is finding new friends that she'll be hanging out with ALOT.

So, go join some sports and clubs and do the same.

    Good luck. :]

  3. If I were you, I would just let her go. I know it's hard to because I've been through letting my best friend of 10 years go recently for a similar reason. You really shouldn't just let her do it to you though, because she'll begin to use you and meet up whenever she's bored. Seriously don't let her take advantage, you'll find another best friend :)

    xx

  4. since shes in collage im sure she's met tons of new people thats shes just dying to hang out with

try your best to come in contact with her and tell her that you two need some time to hang out before you're friendship dies

i know its hard because you dont want to lose your friend but if you dont tell her, you might aswell forget about her.

    Good luck!!<3

  5. you should tell her how you feel

  6. take the truth as fast as u can - she does nto want to be ur friend anymore - and i think tht it is best if u let her be (some people do not noe when they hav a good thing )
